This weekend there are two Festies to choose from in walking distance (just) of each other!
The Food and Drink Festival is in Wollaton Park Saturday and Sunday (cost Adults £8, Concessions £7 and children £3).
The Carnival is on Sunday and is free, the Carnival Parade goes through the City and includes a Carnival Event on the Forest Recreation Ground.
The route includes some road closures!
The ‘beach’ on Slab Square will be open too with a fair, stalls and a beach to enjoy.
The City Centre has lots to see and participate in, even Arty Creative activities, and of course there’s the Castle and grounds!
You can hire City Cycles don’t forget (the helmet isnt included – be very safe and careful on the roads).
Bus and City info – see Wollaton_nottm twitter on the sidebar – click through theres a travel list full of up to date info. Group Rider tickets should still allow bus and tram travel – check. The nearest tram park and ride for the Forest is Wilkinson St just off the ringroad.
This isnt the Notting Hill Carnival, thats in London next weekend
